After fighting the Imperial war machine for months, the Kumo Crew are once again creating headlines with an apparent offer to Utopia for a non-aggression pact in return for weekly tribute.
Sources close to the Kumo Crew have stated they will leave Utopian systems alone ‘if they pay us the proper respect’. It is understood this offer stems from a meeting held between the two powers in earlier weeks.
However, this controversial gesture was received with skepticism from Utopian officials:
“Utopia does not appease pirates and we will not submit to tyranny and greed. We are always striving to promote galactic stability, but a lasting peace cannot be bought or sold”.
With the offer set to expire in one standard week, the galactic community now looks to Utopia for the result of any final agreement.
