White Templars Withdraw from the Pegasi Sector

The White Templar battle fleet retreated without warning last week from the Pegasi system, according to local witnesses.

Some observers believe the White Templars may have reached an agreement with the Kumo Crew. However, a coded transmission was allegedly intercepted earlier this week that could contradict this rumour.

An anonymous source reached out to Interstellar Press:

''The signal has originated from one of the Templar explorers on the Distant Worlds expedition, but my sources within the enclave have gone dark. This transmission used the Grand Master's personal cipher, therefore its destination must have been the Templar enclave at Baal.

Is this a coincidence, the Templar battle fleet jumping away from Kumo systems at the same time as this mysterious transmission? Only the Master Templars seem to know what is happening, and they are being very quiet.''

Where Were You When Archon Delaine Fell Into Turmoil?

After several weeks of open conflict between Imperial forces and the Kumo Crew, civil unrest is now out of control in the pirate controlled systems of Bhattra, Hexians and Brynhilo.

Large strike force undermines Federation systems

Reports are coming in of a massive attack against the Federation systems on Sunday. This has now been confirmed as the first joint strike by the Aislings Angels and The White Templars. Sources have revealed that 4 squadrons of ships from the two groups attacked Felicia Winters control systems, seven systems under her control have now been heavily undermined in one night. This could be a worrying trend for Winters as the Empire groups look to be working closely together to cut off her income.

The White Templars come out of the dark

The White Templars resisting Archon Delaine

A group known as the White Templars have reportedly been assisting the resistance forces in OR Delphini, a system Archon Delaine has attempted to expand his influence into.

“Operation Tsunami was mobilized to answer the request of local government and law enforcement in OR Delphini, and consisted of seven wings working in a coordinated effort to shut down Kumo Crew activity in the system,” a White Templar spokesperson said, refusing to give his name. “We suffered no losses during the operation and faced little resistance.”

While it is unclear what the exact number of losses were for the Kumo Crew forces, the Templars believe they delivered a heavy blow to the pirate band.

“This demonstrates that when innocent groups call out for help to resist oppression, help will come. Let us hope this war soon comes to an end, so peace and prosperity can yet again return to these systems.”

Resistance Against Archon Delaine Expansion

Forces loyal to Arissa Lavigny-Duval answered the pleas for help of resistance fighters in Badjaransto and HIP 106072. These two systems are currently under siege by Archon Delaine’s Kumo Crew in a bid to expand the criminal lord’s activities. 

Dubbed Operation Kursk, an Imperial joint strike force was mobilised last weekend to aid the local resistance. Two independent pilot groups, the White Templars and the Imperial Inquisition, have been confirmed to participate in this operation. According to Imperial sources, the strike force met little resistance and inflicted important losses to the Kumo Crew forces. This action is hoped to assist the local resistance fighters to overcome their would-be oppressors. 

Once again, the war for the Pegasi sector is spilling over from Archon Delaine’s territory as Imperial crews battle to contain his expansion in the region.

Imperial Raid in Kumo Crew Home System

The rumour of an organized aggression against commanders in Harma have been independently confirmed by spokespersons for the “Kumo Crew” and the Imperial-aligned “Order of the White Templars”. While the specifics diverge, it is now certain that a major altercation took place in Archon Delaine’s home system.

According to a commander recognized as the “Voice of The White Templars”, this attack dubbed “Operation Typhoon” was put into effect late Sunday evening. This long-range mission, composed by four wings of “Templars” and pilots aligned with various Imperial powers, aimed to destroy any commander pledged to Archon Delaine found in the system. The group says to have destroyed 21 ships, at the cost of only 7 of their own, thus claiming victory.

While the Kumo Crew confirmed that a large battle took place in the space lanes of Harma, they also claimed victory in the fight against what they identified as supporters of Denton Patreus and Arissa Lavigny-Duval. According to a spokesperson, Kumo affiliated pilots quickly responded to the attack and scattered or shot down at least three Imperial wings.

The attack on Harma marks another escalation in hostilities between the Kumo Crew and the Imperial powers in the war for the Pegasi sector.

The White Templars Assist in Pegasi Pirate War

Confirming rumors of their cooperation with the Imperial Pegasi task force, ‘The Voice of The White Templars’ in the Baal area today released a statement concerning the situation in the Pegasi Sector: 

“Over the last week A. Lavigny-Duval's ‘The White Templars’ have been engaged in operations against Archon Delaine.” It read, “The campaign has seen well organised wings of Knights undermine the pirates' grip over systems exploited by the Kumo Crew.” 

“Delaine's forces have been dealt a severe blow - The White Templar pilots destroyed approximately 2200 ships; Three of our pilots were shot down in the fierce fighting, later recovered by their fellow Knights, returning to their units on the front lines.” 

“The White Templars will continue our onslaught in the coming weeks until the pirates are broken. We will secure the Pegasi Sector of this criminal scourge. Long live the Empire, Long reign our lady A Lavigny-Duval.”
